Sun or Sorrow
The wind may blow where it wishes
and may change from day to day.
But you can trust that this is
where my heart will always stay.
My love for you mocks the seasons;
it's as constant as the sun's rise.
It never falters or weakens
like the ebb of the tides.
I chose you for forever -
not just for today or even tomorrow.
You can count that we'll be together
whether there be sun or sorrow.
