What is your favorite type of weather?
I spend a lot of my free time in the outdoors, and there’s nothing like the fall’s weather. In Indiana, fall can last anywhere from weeks to a few months, or pretty much be skipped over entirely.
Regardless, every year I love being out in the woods, enjoying the fall weather. There’s magic in the forest that time of year. Leaves of fire changing color all around. A cool breeze that makes you feel alive and whispers tales that redefine possibility.
If I was visiting for the first time, I would definitely have no problem believing in fairies and magical beings hiding among the trees. Fall reawakens a childlike innocence that breathes life into the imagination.
But fall is like a traveling circus and just as mysterious as it arrives, it disappears…and then we’re left in winter which I could definitely do without.
If you enjoy nature as much as I do, you may enjoy my nature poetry book below–view by clicking the link.
I also have a poetry series that goes through the seasons of the year, half of which are nature poems and the other half a mental health issue that coincides with the seasons. Currently, the winter and spring collection are both available. My summer collection should be out in a few weeks. My plan is to hopefully publish the fall collection before October.
