Nature-Inspired Bird Haiku – 5-7-5 Poem About Crows Harassing Owls

Crows are clever, social, and surprisingly vengeful. When one of their own is threatened, or simply annoyed, they gather in raucous numbers. One of their most persistent foes? The owl. This haiku captures the noisy storm that erupts when daylight crows discover a roosting predator.

Caws flood the forest
a winged choir hounds its foe.
Owl gets no rest.

I’ve always been fascinated by the relationship between crows and owls. It’s one of those strange dramas that plays out daily in the natural world. One bird is the symbol of night, wisdom, and solitude. The other, of mystery, community, and intelligence. They often feel like opposite sides of the same coin.
