Short Poem About Jesus For Good Friday

EXPLORE BY CATEGORY

When my soul was held in the grips of agony, I cried out to the Lord and asked if He knew my sufferings.

“My child, I don’t just know of your sufferings. They have been driven through my hands, hammered through my feet, jabbed through my side, and injected into my brow. ”

The Cross doesn’t answer all of the “whys” to our suffering, but it destroys the fear that all our suffering is in vain. It introduces us to ultimate love and nails the hope of an empty grave–a time to come without pain–into the depths of our heart.
